We are excited to announce A Waymaker Inc and Thrive Church will be our partners this year.
Interested in Sponsoring a Child
The holidays should be a season of joy, laughter, and hope—but for many local families facing layoffs, displacement, or financial hardship, this time of year can bring more worry than wonder.
That’s why Dare to Empower, Inc. created The Holiday Helping Hand, a community-driven program designed to connect generous sponsors with children in need. Each child, ages 0–14, completes a personal holiday wish list—and we invite your company to help make those wishes come true.
🎁 How It Works
Adopt a Wish List: We’ll send your office a set of “Helping Hand Tags”—each with a child’s first name, age, and wish list.
Shop & Share: Employees or departments “sponsor” a child and purchase new toys, clothing, or essentials from their list.
Return the Joy: Unwrapped gifts (with tags attached) are returned to Dare to Empower by November 30, 2025. We will schedule pick ups starting December 3, 2025
We Deliver the Magic: Our volunteers organize and distribute the gifts directly to families before Christmas—ensuring every child experiences the joy of the season.
Participate Virtually: Purchase options off our Amazon Wish List
Now Accepting Applications
Dare to Empower, Inc. is now accepting applications for The Holiday Helping Hand—our annual Christmas program for children ages 0–14. Each selected child will receive at least four gifts this holiday season.
This year, we’re excited to partner with A Waymaker, Inc. and Thrive Church to make an even bigger impact in our community.
